Am I Ready for Work?

Starting Monday, I’ll be entering a new world. Yes, I finally landed on a day job. Where? That I wanted to remain as classified. But no, that’s not in the California cosmetic surgeon company. That’s not my field.

While contemplating (okay, I’m exaggerating), I am thinking of the things that I would be missing come I am already regularly going to work. Of course, I would fail to send and fetch my niece from school every day. But I do hope to catch up with what she’s been learning from school. At the same sense, I do hope that she’d be diligent in her studies and not indulge too much with Barbie cartoons. It seems to allow her to be in the know to fashion and how to be beautiful. Oh, the last thing that I would want to hear is that she would love to have a tummy tuck in Beverly Hills. That would really put me in terrible shock. On the other hand, I know that these cartoons do provide positive learning to contribute to a child’s well-being.

Another thing that I’d surely let pass are the blogger events that I frequent just recently. There had been a lot of positive character development that I’ve been having attending to these events. Yes, I had developed a certain confidence in me that I need not undergo a Beverly Hills rhinoplasty just to feel welcome. I had met a lot of new friends from different walks of life while gaining information from a variety of subjects.

I know there’s still a lot that I could be missing come Monday. But that is a sacrifice that I have to pay to have a regular income. What matter is to enjoy my new work because I have the full support of my family and my angel. So yes, I’m ready. I know God will be with me all the way.

Congrats on your new job, I'm sure it will open up new adventures. As for kid's TV shows, not all of them are educational, I'd ask your neice what she was watching as ell as what she learned!

@Muhammad, well, I guess I am.

@Manilenya Mom, I guess it is just a matter of finding the job that you really love.

@Fly Girl, you bet. Some of the kid's TV shows doesn't teach good character for the kids.

@Susie, I do hope. Adjustment period pa rin ako.
