My Honda CR-V Dream

It’s been raining hard since the wee hours today. Not to mention about the earthquake around 1:15am. Yes, I felt the tremble; I even thought that I am just dizzy for not being able to sleep yet at that time. The weather is so inviting to be lazy, but I got to get up and do some errands. Everything is set to go, my bag is packed; but I just can’t because the rain hasn’t stopped yet. Time’s like this, I wish I had a car of my own; and that I know how to drive. *grin*

Given a chance that I could pick a car of my own, disregarding the price, I’d love to have a Honda CR-V.

LinkI know not of the details about that car. I don’t even know its gas/diesel consumption. I am really naïve when it comes to those things. I just perceive that having a car these days is somewhat a necessity. Most likely, if I had a car, the rain won’t stop me (well unless flood is already at a depth no longer tolerable) from doing the things that I would love to enjoy.

Not just the rain. Most of the time, the unavailability of public transportation also prohibit me from doing my thing – like running. If only I already have my car, a Honda CR-V for that matter; I could already be a marathoner. Or maybe, I am just finding reasons for my inactivity, ha ha ha.

On the other hand, I know owning one would entail great responsibility – from registration to maintenance. But then, the convenience it can bring you is quite fair for the maintenance cost. Besides, maintaining your car is no longer a burden for there are a number of reliable and trustworthy repair shops all around. And if you are a newbie in this particular field, just like me, we can check the web for the list of these shops. Lucky are those who live in California for they have a RepairPal that provides a directory of these shops. More so, they are now at par with recent technological advancements, for they already have RepairPal for mobile (iPhone or Android).

Anyhow, going back to my Honda CR-V dream; I guess this is something that I could put into the list of “If I had a Million, I would…” for such a luxury car is an extravagance. But hey, dreaming ain't bad. At least that is something still attainable. But if I had to speak my heart out, I'd love to have Ratchet for my car, hee hee.
