Back to running.
We met up at Mc Donald's at Pearl Drive and have our attendance with Coach Luis, plus picture taking too [of course].
What I love about adiNation is the feeling of one big happy family. I am running side by side with a number of Bataan Death March Ultramarathoners but never felt belittled in anyway. I really feel that I BELONG! Yay! I'm a RUNNER!
First activity was a 1.2K warm-up that we normally have before the time trials. Alright, I
After the time trial [congratulations to Jeric by the way for his 4:11 1K], Coach Luis asked us if we wanted another round. Most of us answered 'NO'; we already want to have the long run. And so we go, RUN!
As I've said earlier, NO Geography; so I cannot really tell you our route. Hmmm, our first stop [I believe] is at Tiendesitas. Irene told us [Maan and I] that we had just covered a total of 3K. What?! I felt like already run 8K or something. Good thing we have to stop for a recovery of sort.
Then off we go. We now have to traverse a steep hill going to St. Martin. Well, everyone who were on a climb knows how it feels to be on top. I survived! And we left our mark at St. Martin.
St. Martin is really not that much challenge for those who normally run at Buendia Flyover [10K and up distance frequenters]. But the next 'hill' that we're up to is a different story - we run at Canley!!!
Coach Luis is really proud of us for being able to survive Canley. He told us that most of his runningmates become hesitant for bringing us into such calvary; but he's sooo determined that we could finish it. And now, we had given him the bragging rights!
Then, we headed back from where we started. In total, we had ran approximately 11K. And that was a blast! I particularly want to thank Leo for accompanying me when I can no longer keep up with RunningAtom's pace. It's all because of side stitches!
After that lovely evening of 11K run, we all bid goodbye. But I never left without having a cup of McFlurry! Oooh, satisfying!
Hope I would be present next session; for most probably, I would need to rehabilitate with my addiction of running a 5K trail run at Merrell Adventure Run [ on Saturday] and 10K run at NatGeo EDR [on Sunday].
I sooo ♥ my adiNation Family!

More St. Martin and Canley? Our adination session last Wednesday made me remember the hills of Lourdes and Teacher's Camp that I traverse on my trainings in Baguio.
You deserve a pat on the shoulder Madz while someone's telling this to you: "dalaga ka na Madz. nakakatakbo ka na sa Canley!", hehehe!
napadaan lng..
sarap siguro ng pakiramdam kung sama sama sa pagtakbo. nice group!
Wow Madz, Your post here is making me soooo jealous. lol. I would be showing up every week for group runs like that. 11k. Congrats!!! I love how you have such support from other runners in your runs. Best wishes at the races this weekend. Yeah, I saw Running Atoms 15k results. He kicks ass-phault! lol. Take care, God Bless.
wow..its so nice to have a group family like that ^_^
You actually make running look lots of fun as you get to meet people with the same passion.
I really wish I could join you running madz. I really need to loose some calories. But my time prohibits it.
Call me a coward, but I'd never participate in a marathon whose participants include a group menacingly called Bataan Death March Ultramarathoners. Are you kidding me?! The moniker ultramarathoners alone made me feel inadequate. But death march?
Please don't give me the evil eye. I'm just kidding. :)
Congrats for another successful and fun run.
super bibo...ehhehe...bibo sa pictorial....joke! one big happy family indeed.....:)
I can't handle even the idea of running and then to see that you run in the dark...oh no! You're amazing!
Running is one of the exercise that I would love to do even if I'm alone and I would find it even better if I run with my friends and family too, and you are right, A Mcflurry can be the sweet end of the long run. :)
Ang sarap nga sigurong tumakbo, with fresh gusty wind on your face and the verdant tress towering above you...pero pag city , hindi mo mararanasan ito, unless park...dito nga sa amin, maraming walang mga sidewalk , kahit main roads..Keep up the good work , Madz..TC
We're really a family with Adination. To be honest, it's my first running team to join. I ran by myself since then and joining our team is greatest decision I made for running!
I guess running is our life Madz!
I find more and more people really love running. I could never get into it, but I love your enthusiasm. It really makes me want to go for a run. =)
Wow! No doubt that you really love your adination family. I can see it in your smile. =D Glad yuo did your best on running. Just continue running and enjoy girl. =D
