My Best Friend's Wedding

No, this isn't about the movie of the same title. In fact, I haven't watched the movie yet. This is about the wedding of my high school best friend, Niña (but I am used to calling her Men, short for Niña Jasmin).

JR (her would-be husband) & Men

She will be married by September this year. And of course, I'm on her entourage. So, as early as now, I am trying to get rid of my excess fats, especially in my tummy, ha ha ha. I have to be fit by September, hu hu hu. Hope I could achieve that. *fingers crossed* I have been eating dinner with NO RICE for the past 3 nights now, and won't be having rice at dinner until her big day. *good luck, he he he* Well, I also have 30 crunches each night, if I don't fail to remember, hee hee.

Earlier, Susie had told me about her idea of a shower party for Men. Without hesitation, I don't say no as an answer. Well, we are planning to give her the party a month before her wedding. But, we still don't know what to do. Can you guys help us think about it? Thanks in advance!

Personalized Tumbler

Me and my office mates have been addicted to Starbucks coffee. And every time we had our coffee, I always look for their new tumblers. Some caught my eyes, but none mesmerized me. But the personalized tumblers from PosyLane is something adorable. May it be for a simple gift favor or for own use, this is simply worth loving to use.

I had visited the site and fell in love with this monogrammed tumbler that is 100% made in USA.

And since PosyLane offers personalized tumblers, you can pick from their fabric designs collection and have the letter of your choice. Well of course, for me, I'd choose letter 'M' and the following fabric:

Aside from tumblers, they also offer personalized water bottles with the same choices of fabric design. But there's more with these bottles. You can unscrew the base and fit in your keys. Wouldn't be nice to sip a coffee or drink water with your own personal bottle? Well, it is definitely wonderful to have one.

New Layout Mania: Updated

Hi guys! Thanks for your comments about my new layout. A couple of days back, I've been busy modifying the layout of my other blogs. Yes, I've got a lot of blogs, but I'd rather maintain a few than having the burden of maintaining all of them. Err, am I a certified blogaholic?

Anyways, I'd like to show here the snapshots of the new layouts of my blogs. Feel free to comment, and visit as well.

Puzzle Pieces

Well, I made this blog to store information that are of current events, or those knowledge-base that I find hard to find over the net, or simply topics that are of my interests. Also, I'm planning to investigate if this blog would gain a Page Rank even without having to exchange links or SEO submissions.

Odds and Ends

Here in this blog, I showcased strange, funny, and interesting pictures and videos. This one is for entertainment.

Chris Pacana

This one's dedicated to my favorite basketball player. Well, I do admire Kerby Raymundo as well, but I bet he had a lot of blogs and pictures all over the net. Thus, I just made one for Chris Pacana.

And now, I wanted, again, to modify the layout of this blog. Hmmm, seems I wanted the white background for the post area more. Well, after posting this entry, I modified my layout. So here you go, my new layout. What do you think? Is this layout better than the later? Or should I revert back to the old one? *confused*

See you around!

Gold Coins Gain

Whenever I hear the word 'Gold', I always think of the song with the same title by Spandau Ballet. It's lyrics goes like this:

Gold
Always believe in your soul
Youve got the power to know
Youre indestructable
Always believe in,because you are
Gold
And wow, gold is indestructible! Perhaps, it is true. According to www.goldcoinsgain.com, gold is the world’s most liquid investment trading throughout the world daily. Liquid investment is one that can be bought or sold quickly in large volume without dramatically affecting its market price. Moreover, gold is considered as the ultimate asset. Thus, gold is something worthy of an investment.

If you are planning to have such investment, try visiting Gold Coins Gain. They offer FREE gold guide that would answer your what, when, where, and how questions. In this way, you can make yourself knowledgeable about gold coins. And, if truly interested, you can buy gold coins or buy gold bullion and even acquire a gold IRA in their site as well. The site offers an authentic list of gold coins and gold bullion. To have peace of mind in terms of the value of your investment, their site shows the spot market prices of gold bullion.

In a nutshell, Gold Coins Gain is a site that is not merely dedicated in selling gold coins; they also educate their visitors regarding gold market news and gold predictions.

Friendship Badge

One of the most frequent friend who tags me in this blogosphere gave me this Friendship Badge, and I do solemnly accept your friendship David. Well, we got acquainted, as far as I remembered, because of the WBE Sportsmanship Award. He is the creator of the said award, and it was all about sports. I love basketball, that's why I love that award too.

I choose to pass this to only one, and that lucky one is Meryl. I'm sure you already have this one, but I still want to pass this one to you for the friendship. Take care sis!

Oops! Google Did It Again

I had been very vocal about the main purpose why I had been into blogging; and that is to earn money online. At first, I am only into Google Adsense. But for some reason, after reaching the minimum payout of $100, I got disabled. I assumed that's because I had submitted my site to an automatic site submission.

Then, Sis Dhemz encouraged me to join pay per post sites. She told me that it's that easy. So, since I'm very into this blogging thingy, I did. I am even amazed the first time I got $0.50 in my PayPal account. Yes, I was very child at heart then. With even $0.50, I was overjoyed. Well, that's somthing I can call my own, rather than in paid to click sites where I should accumulate money first before I can have my payment. With that, I've been joining an opportunity per day. Until I got so much addicted that I had been posting around 3 paid posts per day.

I was fortunate then because my Page Rank, which had become zero after gaining a page rank of 2, had become three. Higher page ranks means many visitors, means many opportunities. I was overwhelmed then that I stayed so late at night just to be able to reserve the opportunities as possible. Until one night, when I was about to reserve an opportunity, the site kept on informing me that the opportunities are no longer available, only to find out that my Page Rank slid back to zero, AGAIN, hu hu hu. Google did it again! I really don't know how and why my Page Rank had been returning to zero. I felt I had lost lots of opportunities with this PR0. I really hope that my PR be back to at least 2, if not 3.

To subside the agony I'm in, I created another blog, Puzzle Pieces, I would be seeing the development of the PR of this blog. But then again, I just hope I could regain my Page Rank here. I badly want my Page Rank BACK!

Any piece of advise?

Unsecured Personal Loan

An unsecured personal loan is a loan that is offered to borrowers that does not require a form of security, such as a house or car being used to secure the loans. Instead the borrower's personal credit history which is measured through a credit check is used to decide if the loan will be offered. Please note although some lenders refer to these loans solely as personal loans and some unsecured loans, they are one and the same thing.

Now, if you are in need or in search of the best company that offers unsecured personal loan, try visiting ULServicesOnline. What's great with this company is that you can apply for a personal loan online, as what their site suggests. Another thing, as what I had read in their site, they support their services with continual learning; thus, enabling satisfactory, if not outstanding, client experiences.

Their service is not limited to unsecured loans. They as well provide the following:
  • Unsecured Personal Line of Credit
  • Small Unsecured Business Loans
  • Unsecured Business Line of Credit
  • Start-Up Business Loans
  • Unsecured and Secured Credit Cards
  • Home Equity Loans & Lines of Credit
I bet everyone would be, somehow, in need of a personal loan as with the recession felt in every part of the world. So, if you really have to apply for a personal loan, be knowledgeable enough to know which company offers the best services. And ULServicesOnline will surely be in your list.

Gels at the Cabanas

Exactly two (2) weeks after the Gels Night on April Fools Day, we had another night out organized by Mommy Angela. We had it at The Cabanas, City of Malolos. Actually, this is not a gels night, rather, this is a sort of despedida to Jelly who would be leaving for US on Saturday. Nevertheless, it was fun. I really had a great time.

My Kambal and Me

Marie and I went there together. While on our way, we had a lot of chats. Roughly anything under the sun talk. I really miss it, sharing almost everything to her. Miss you kambal!

It was our first time at The Cabanas, good that we were not lost, ha ha. Upon arriving, we headed on Red Mix. Well, we really don't know where that was, we just proceed to the dining where there's a red signage, he he he. Luckily, or should I say logically, we found it.

We had a lot of good food. My favorites are the Crispy Dinuguan and the Cashew Shrimp (a tongue twister).

Ooops, cashew nalang pala, wala ng shrimp :P

Here are our pictures, a proof that we really had a great time.

Spot the Boys -_-

So Gels, see you *** *, 2009? Ooops, okay, I need not say it here, hee hee. See you SOOOOON!!!

Shows That Take My Breath Away

When I was in Grade 6, I had dreamed of performing on stage. I remember how I used to mimic a performer and have my own version in our backyard. I just felt that it is so nice to be a part of Broadway Plays. Well, I've been a part of a play when I was in high school, but I'm just a person in the crowd, one of those who portrayed as a commoner following a procession. Nothing special about my role.

In college, me and My Angel, had watched one of the Broadway Shows in Star City. The show was fascinating. I wonder how many days, weeks, or perhaps months before the performers got to perfect their show. It was a Broadway Musical. The voices of the performers were astonishing.

Just recently, last April Fools Day, my former boss gave us discount tickets to another Broadway Show, entitled Flow. There are a group of performers that are very young, yet talented. Their performance took my breath away. Their stunts were amazing. I loved watching it. Actually, my boss is giving me another Broadway tickets for that weekend. However, it was my mother's birthday, so I can't come.

It is such nice to, once in a while, watch Broadway Shows. Believe me, the experience is so different as compared to watching movies, even if it's in an IMAX theater. Those shows simply take my breath away...

Dog Collars

Do you have a dog? Well, I don't have one, for he might be fighting with Mickey Mouse and Garfield, ha ha ha. Kidding aside, I've been seeing a lot of persons who are fond of dogs. When me and my mom celebrated her birthday at Mall of Asia, we found a lady bringing her dog with all the accessories (dress, snickers(?), and Dog Collar). It is fascinating to me, treating dogs as special pets.

Last night, while waiting for my aesthetician at Flawless, I've read about Sarah Geronimo loving dogs. And her dogs were all cute. I believe there are many of you who love dogs as well. Where do you buy your dog's accessories? Are you looking for Dog Collars? Try searching for one at dog-collar.net. They offer variety of Collars for Dogs. The picture above is my personal choice, only if I have one. Or, I might be using them myself, ha ha. My elementary and high school friends used to bully me as a Bulldog, hmph! Don't ask me why! *arf arf*

And There Was Light

Have you participated in the Earth Hour? During that one hour, what have you done? For me and my family, we just gathered around our living room and have a chat with each other. We also took some pictures and have fun with my beautiful niece, Stephanie. Well, how could I do something with all the lights off right?

I don't really like working without light. I felt like I'm blind when there's darkness. At times at home, when I'm busy surfing the net and updating my blog, I have to put the lights on. Though I know how to touch type, I still need some light. The light coming from our monitor is not sufficient for me. That's when I thought of light fixtures in our house.

Our home lighting have quite satisfactory lighting fixtures. But, if I have something to change, that would be our ceiling light fixtures. There are times when I have to lit up two (2) lights to illuminate the house well. While, the one in our living room illuminates too much light, so I don't really like turning that on. I bet it would be beneficial to have good lighting fixtures for it also helps in preventing our eyes from being blurred. As of now I have 25-75 eye vision. And I don't want to increase that grade anymore.

How about you? Do you love or hate light? Well, as you may have known, in the beginning, there was total darkness. Then God said "Let there be light... and there was light."

Do I Hear Wedding Bells?

Do I hear wedding bells? Any plans of getting married? Me? No, not anytime soon. Well, me and My Angel would want to have our own house first before setting down. And of course, budget is something to look at.

For the soon to be wed, have you decided on your wedding give-a-ways? Is money a factor? Well, I would recommend wedding cookie favors to be included in your choices. The usual figurine give-a-ways would be fine. But, to have something unique, you may try some edible wedding favors. In posylane.com, they offer not just wedding cookie favors, but candy wedding favors as well. Don't you worry about the price, it is inexpensive, around $3 a pack. And yes, you can customize the packaging labels to your desired design to fit your wedding motif. Great right? See for yourself here at www.posylane.com. They have Oh Sugar / Nam's Bits - Great Wedding or Party Favors, and Corporate Gifts choices that will surely attract you.

Best Wishes!!!

Station of the Cross at Divine Mercy Shrine

Last Good Friday, we had our Station of the Cross at the Divine Mercy Shrine at Marilao, Bulacan. Stations of the Cross (or Way of the Cross; in Latin, Via Crucis; also called the Via Dolorosa or Way of Sorrows, or simply, The Way) refers to the depiction of the final hours (or Passion) of Jesus, and the devotion commemorating the Passion. The tradition as chapel devotion began with St. Francis of Assisi and extended throughout the Roman Catholic Church in the medieval period. It is less often observed in the Anglican and Lutheran churches. It may be done at any time, but is most commonly done during the Season of Lent, especially on Good Friday and on Friday evenings during Lent.

I just wanna share with you the pictures of the 14 stations. In every station, it's alright to say a prayer, as I did then. God Bless!

The Divine Mercy Shrine

THE FOURTEEN STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Jesus Institutes the Eucharist

Jesus Prays in Gethsemane

Jesus Before the Sanhedrin

Jesus is Denied by St. Peter

Jesus Carries the Cross to Cavalry

Jesus Falls for the First Time

Jesus is Helped By Simon of Cyrene

Jesus Meets the Pious Women

Jesus is Nailed to the Cross

Jesus Promises Heaven to the Repentant Thief

Jesus Entrusts Mary and John to Each Other

Jesus Dies on the Cross

Jesus is Laid in the Tomb

Jesus Rises from the Death

I could say that my Good Friday had been a meaningful one. We finished the station of the cross at around 12noon. Next activity? Wait for my next post :)

Good Night, Sweet Dreams

Have you ever had a good night? Have you ever had a sweet dream each time you sleep? Me, err, I honestly admit that sometimes, I have not slept so soundly. Well, I admit I've been going to sleep in the wee hours. But, probably one of the causes by the bed I'm sleeping on. I have always wanted to buy a new one. If I have to have a new one, I'll be picking this Queen Size Wooden Serpentine Bed.

It is a western furniture that suits my taste. It is at peace, rather, at one with nature. Probably, this bed would give me the sweetest dreams.

Sleep Tight!
