My Mom's 3-Day Birthday Celebration

Last April 4 is my mother's 60th birthday. And I am very grateful to God that He gave my mother a very happy and fruitful life and more to come. We celebrated my mother's birthday for three days. She was soooooooo H-A-P-P-Y.

April 4 : DINNER
We had dinner at our house with all the relatives within the compound. I am so glad because my mother was so loved not only by her siblings but by her nieces and nephews as well. But before the dinner, I accompanied her to attend the mass. We also had the companion of my cousins and my lovely niece. At dinner, of course, My Angel is around. He brought cake for my mother. Surprises come to my mother as my relatives had brought gifts for her. It's kinda tiring, with all the preparations. But all is worth it. My mother is H-A-P-P-Y!

April 5 : IMAX - MONSTERS VS ALIENS
As promised, we headed on at Mall of Asia the following day, April 5. It was my gift to my mother. I just wanted her to experience stuffs that she haven't experienced yet. I know I could have just gave her material things that she always dreamed of. But, I guess, experience would be something that she can reminisce for a lifetime. At first, we are kinda hesitant for IMAX will only be showing Monsters vs Aliens, a movie for kids. But, it was all for experience, so we did watch the film. And, I believe there is always a 'kid' in every one of us. We enjoyed the movie. We had so much fun. IMAX is a real great experience. And my fave character then was BOB, hee hee. "So see you tomorrow? Lunch time?". See the movie for yourself, it's fun.

April 6 : SWIMMING TIME
Last day of my mother's birthday celebration. We had our family swimming. Though I don't have her company all the time (since I have to take care of my niece), I feel in my heart that she enjoyed the quality time we spent there. And I soooooooo LOVE my niece. She never wanted to be held by me. She simply enjoyed the water. She even cried out loud when we were about to leave. She cried, "Doon, swimming pool, happy birthday lola!". But she was so BLACK then, ha ha ha. We really need to go home.

I really love to see my mother enjoying her life. Well, it is her turn to be happy. Those simple gestures are my own little way of showing gratitude for all the things she had sacrificed for all of us. I really LOVE my mother! Hope God continue to bless her with a happy and contented life. Hope I could fulfill her dreams (a grandchild? hee hee).

I LOVE YOU INA!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
