My Best Friend's Wedding

No, this isn't about the movie of the same title. In fact, I haven't watched the movie yet. This is about the wedding of my high school best friend, Niña (but I am used to calling her Men, short for Niña Jasmin).

JR (her would-be husband) & Men

She will be married by September this year. And of course, I'm on her entourage. So, as early as now, I am trying to get rid of my excess fats, especially in my tummy, ha ha ha. I have to be fit by September, hu hu hu. Hope I could achieve that. *fingers crossed* I have been eating dinner with NO RICE for the past 3 nights now, and won't be having rice at dinner until her big day. *good luck, he he he* Well, I also have 30 crunches each night, if I don't fail to remember, hee hee.

Earlier, Susie had told me about her idea of a shower party for Men. Without hesitation, I don't say no as an answer. Well, we are planning to give her the party a month before her wedding. But, we still don't know what to do. Can you guys help us think about it? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Just wanted to say hi and thanks for following me.
It's so much pressure to lose weight before a wedding. In fact. My guy and I decided to have a simple ceremony, no dressing up, nothing. But our friend went and bought me a dress and wants to turn it into a big thing. I feel so pressured. At the same time, I still have a tummy from when I had Maya 6 months ago.

hi, goodluck on losing wieght, it's such a hard work for some sometimes..

are you asking about hen's night? well when I got married I didn't want to have one, but I've been to a hen's night one time where we all chipped in to hire a bus to take us to a popular club in the city and danced, drink all night till the dawn, the bride to be wore a veil so people would know it's a hen's night and we get a lot of respect for that because they know girls just wanna have fun..

this is the best advice I can give..

@jes, I've got no mommy moment entry for I'm not a mommy nor a wife yet :D

@wtad, hmm, for me, I just love simple and sacred matrimony :)

@R.DaLomba, you're welcome. Yes, I bet it was a real pressure for the bride, at least I'm just a part of the entourage :)

@Lindz, thanks, I do hope I could work my tummy until September :) Anyway, is hen's night similar to the movie bride wars? Well, I think we should try that. Thanks for the advise.

@honie, I don't love teas, I hate the taste, he he. Nesvita is quite good for me.

@meryl, okay naman ang braso ko, tyan lang talaga problem, ha ha ha. Mabuti na pakiramdam ko, and nag-enjoy naman ako sa outing, and guess what? Tag of War ung game na kasali ako, ha ha ha
